ASP.NET User Group - Resume Workshop

Patricia Stinson ( http://www.linkedin.com/in/trishstinson ). The Workshop will cover the first steps to be taken when getting laid off or if you've been unemployed for any amount of time. There will be suggestions made on what to do when leaving a company as well as pointers for those just getting out in the workforce. There will be a section dedicated to building a resume as well as the do's and don'ts. A slideshow with examples will be provided along with suggestions for cover letters. In addition, there will be interview tips and suggestions on positioning yourself in the community and the importance on networking. There will be a section geared towards preparation for interviews and what to expect. Market trends will be discussed and an open audience discussion for any questions.
